PUBLISH OR PERISH

I love the act of writing, as it allows me to discover connections and find out what I think. As an academic, I have written (and taught) as a career. And, most of my writing has been research-based and oriented to a professional audience--in other words, read by a small, insular audience. I greatly enjoy the freedom and opportunity that blogging provides. And, I recognize merits of scholarly inquiry, which informs my blogs and insights.
